Accessibility Statement

This statement was last updated on October 30, 2025

We at Rescue Renovations are working to make our site rescuerenovations.net accessible to people with disabilities.

What web accessibility is

An accessible site allows visitors with disabilities to browse the site with the same or a similar level of ease and enjoyment as other visitors. This can be achieved with the capabilities of the system on which the site is operating, and through assistive technologies.

Accessibility adjustments on this site

We have designed and adapted this website in accordance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, and have made the site accessible to the level of AA.

The site’s contents have been optimized to work with assistive technologies, such as screen readers and keyboard navigation. As part of our ongoing effort to ensure accessibility, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Used accessibility evaluation tools to identify and correct potential accessibility issues

  • Set the default language of the site

  • Structured pages with clear, consistent heading levels

  • Added descriptive alternative text to all images

  • Ensured appropriate color contrast throughout the site

  • Reduced unnecessary animations or motion

  • Ensured all videos, audio, and downloadable files are accessible

  • Maintained logical page order and intuitive navigation

Declaration of partial compliance with the standard due to third-party content [only add if relevant]

Some sections of this site may include third-party content that we do not control. For example, embedded content such as maps, social media feeds, or videos provided by third parties (e.g., Google Maps or Instagram). These elements may not fully comply with accessibility standards, and we therefore declare partial compliance for those specific components.

Accessibility arrangements in the organization [only add if relevant]

At Rescue Renovations, we are committed to accessibility not only online but also in person.

Our physical workspaces and on-site services are designed to be accessible whenever possible. We strive to accommodate clients with mobility challenges by offering:

  • Accessible meeting arrangements upon request

  • Options for virtual consultations

  • On-site assessments and custom renovation solutions for accessibility, including barrier-free designs, walk-in showers, grab bars, ramps, and wider doorways

We are continuously improving accessibility both digitally and physically to serve all clients effectively and respectfully.
